Key information for customers before visiting the workshop.
What is the diagnostic fee?
The deposit diagnostic fee of £20.00 is deducted from the repair bill if you decide to go ahead with the repair, if you don’t or it is beyond economic repair, it covers the time and expertise involved in fault finding.
Do you repair large TVs?
We only repair TV’s of 50 ” or under – this is due to the the thin screens which are liable to break and the size of the work bench. If you want to locate the size of your TV, the model number on the back of the TV will contain 2 digits indicating the size.
Do you offer home visits?
Sorry, we no longer offer home visits. All repairs are handled from our Hove workshop.
Can you help with insurance claims?
For £30 Robert Smith will produce a letter for insurance companies confirming the fault with the equipment or that it is beyond economical repair.
How do I check my TV size?
Customers can find screen size from the model number on the back of the TV.
